The company uses Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) technology, also known under the trademark Teflon™ — a polymer and plastic material used across various fields of science and engineering. This material possesses rare physical and chemical properties, including excellent sliding capabilities and chemical inertness.
It is characterized by high heat and frost resistance, remaining flexible and elastic at temperatures ranging from -250°C to +250°C. This allows it to be used as an insulating material in many industries. Teflon has extremely low surface tension and adhesion — it is not wetted by water, fats, or most organic solvents.
In terms of chemical resistance, PTFE surpasses all known synthetic materials and even noble metals. At moderate temperatures, it remains unaffected by concentrated alkalis, acids, and even mixtures of nitric and hydrochloric acid.
