BUGATTI: Since 1972, Bugatti Autoricambi has been developing, manufacturing and selling: water pumps, timing belt sets with and without a water pump, tensioners, tension pulleys and damper pulleys for cars, pulleys for cars and commercial vehicles.

Founded by the Bugatti family and part of the Metelli Group since 2017, the company has its own plant in the province of Brescia. Thanks to its own aluminum die-casting foundry, the company is able to develop water pumps from design to finished product. Thanks to the vertical integration of the production process, the time required in the various stages of production has been reduced with a 98% fill rate.

In 2021, Metelli Group bought out Breda Lorett, and in 2017, Bugatti (an Italian pump manufacturer).

The company's laboratory is equipped with two special test benches for testing bearings and automatic tensioners with all the measuring instruments necessary to guarantee the functioning of the products both at the development stage and in operation.

All bearings for belt tensioners and tensioning pulleys are installed on the test bench and are approved only after 500 challenging hours of operation (equivalent to approximately 125,000 km), even at temperatures exceeding the actual ones.

The timing belt set without water pump consists of tensioners and tension pulleys made by Bugatti, with premium belts from the best suppliers.

Each product is thoroughly analyzed and tested using computer simulations in accordance with the same quality and safety criteria as those used by original equipment manufacturers.
